Read Today is on a mission to help every child learn to read.
Reading is one of the most important foundational skills a child can learn for success throughout life. Research also shows that those children who learn to read before age 9, with the help of involved parents at home, have a much better chance of thriving in school.

KPBS Radio Reading Service
The KPBS Radio Reading Service broadcasts the readings of newspapers, books and magazines to those with low vision, blindness and other impairments. Airing 24 hours a day over a private audio channel, the Reading Service is accessible to qualified recipients in San Diego through a specialized radio, and online via audio webstream. All local publication readings are produced by KPBS volunteers.
